See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

Zutara Week starts tomorrow!

Alright the time has come again!

For tumblr, the hashtags I will be reblogging from are #zutara week and #zutara week 2021. But y’all know how our dear tumblr gets confused about showing all the hashtags so please feel free to DM me with the links to your submissions! The DMs have proven to be the most reliable way to get your work featured on this blog so no need to be shy or apologize (y’all are always apologizing! This is what I’m here for!!)

And every year I have to repeat that while I cannot control if NSFW art or writing is made, it will not be featured on any of the Zutara Week platforms.

Only other rule is to please submit your work on the chosen day for each prompt!

August 8th - August 14th:

💙Day 1 - Hair

❤️Day 2 - Disguised

💙Day 3 - Glowing

❤️Day 4 - UPDATED: Community lead freebie day!

💙Day 5 - Mend

❤️Day 6 - Spirits

💙Day 7 - Stories

Make the art, write the fics, compose the songs and video, y’all know what to do! Most importantly: HAVE FUN

ZUTARA WEEK 2021 - STORIES

Zuko remembers stories told in front of calm ponds, under rainstorms and in his mother’s and, eventually, his uncle’s arms. To him, stories mean silky pajamas and comfy bed sheets. Tales of dragons, of warriors and demons, inscribed in scrolls and told in plays. As time passes, the Hundred Years War becomes the stuff of legends, of stories. In a hundred, in a thousand years, who will remember, and how? Whatever he becomes - banished prince, tea server, firebending teacher Fire Lord - he hopes he is remembered for being good.

Katara remembers stories told under warm furs, around crackling fires and in her mother’s and, eventually, her father’s arms. To her, stories mean soft parkas and comfy sleeping bags. Tales of Chiefs, of hunters and Spirits, whispered in waving hands and warm voices. As time passes, the Hundred Years War becomes the stuff of legends, of stories. In a hundred, in a thousand years, who will remember, and how? Whatever she becomes - Master, warrior, healer, Fire Lady - she hopes she is remembered for being good.

Soon enough, as years pass, they become the ones who tell stories. Stories of lovers in crystal caves, of princesses on the moon, of Avatars lost and found. They tell them to children - and, eventually, grandchildren - born from them, from silk and fire, from furs and water. And they’re happy.
